Can anyone tell me what the storage is like in the single rooms in halls? Are there any drawers for clothes? Does the closet just have a rail?

there are 2 pull out drawers under the bed. they are pretty big. the closet has a rail in it and then two individual compartments underneath.

My cousin is staying in trinity hall too and she was just wondering is there a lift Or anything?

Yep there are lifts in all apartment blocks. They also had shopping trolleys available last year to help people bring their luggage to the apartments!

The room and bathroom look rather small, but trust me, this is about as big as you’re going to get in Dublin for a single room.

Er, no. The rooms are tiny and you can get much better privately.

Halls is all about the banter

Sure, but it's not accurate to say that the standard of accomodation there is what you can expect from the rest of Dublin, because it really isn't.

"Living at Halls cost me about 600 euro a month, bills included (electricity, water, etc.). If you think that’s expensive, trust me, it’s pretty middle of the road for this country"

600 a month! jesus christ, i pay 400 a month to rent my own large house with friends all double rooms 2 bathrooms and a garden, and 10 minutes on a bike from TCD, that's much better than halls. 600 is certainly not middle of the road, i'd be wanting a very large swanky apartment in the middle of town for that.
