RTE stations on TuneIn Radio App

Hi

I use the TuneIn Radio app to listen to the radio. Since Tuesday none of the RTE stations work.

I know RTE are running ads telling people to retune their DAB radios so I assume that's got something to do with the problem but I can't find any solution/advice regarding this app and I can't find any option within the app itself that would solve the problem (admittedly I wouldn't be the best tech wise!).

So far I've uninstalled/reinstalled it but that's not helped.

Any really clever person out there with a solution?

I'm having a lot of problems with the tune in app also this week. Its been very flakey much worse all week than the odd bad day.

Radio 1 has been very stuttery, back to the tried and trusted 252LW for me.

The Newstalk stream has been flakey at best on the Tune in app this week. I'm on android FYI.

Have intermittently had problems with TuneIn and RTE the last few months on iPhone, seems to be an on-going problem. Same issue with Newstalk this week, hasn't happened before.

Also seeing errors from RTE radio stations from tunein on apple and philips internet radio devices Other stations (newstalk, today fm ) ok.

RTE's direct URL link is working correctly when directly entered from a browser but not from tunein - it gives me an "error - no entires in playlist" (so suggests a tunein issue). This link is http://av.rasset.ie/av/live/radio/radio1.m3u

I am having the same problems - other radio stations seem ok. Will see if I can contact tunein support.

Have tried all of the RTE stations on my TuneIn App on the iPhone and iPad and receive that exact same error - "error - no entires in playlist" - it appears every other station I checked on the list of Irish (and foreign) stations is working fine, so appears to be something specific to RTE Stations.

Their MAJOR loss if they're not supporting streaming to this client because I only listening using TuneIn now.

I've switched to the RTE1 app - bit inconvenient but at least it works.

Same issue here too. None of the RTE stations working on iPad or iPhone. Just tried on mates phone with Android and no issues. Seems to be a problem with either iOS7 or the last update prior to this of Tunein app. Might have to send them a note or a mail to ask them to check it. :-{

Had the same problem today with RTE. Wonder what's going on.

Looks like an error with streaming link. I wonder have they changed servers/blades in RTE and the Tune in link is wrong?

Dunno, but their site isn't working properly in ipad either, very strange.

I didnt upgrade my iPhones software yet and I cannot receive any of the RTE stations, which I could before. I use Tunein because I can record radio. No other app I know has this facility. I wonder have RTE done something?

Looks like tune in use the signal from Kippure for the feed. Anything to do with that I wonder. It's bloody annoying when you get used to using the app.

Might have been fixed now as I can receive the RTE stations.

Spin south west wasn't working for a while, is now.

TuneIn app had been amazing - obviously I don't use it to listen to rte - but it has been giving me issues these last few weeks - station not saved message. I used to be able to search for. & listen to stations from all over the world. Very frustrating now & havn't got a peep out of it these past weeks I've not even bothered I suspect TuneIn have changed something at their end.

Must try it again today but on the PC ; I normally use it on my iPhone.

Issue seems to be resolved as Rte stations working again on Tunein Radio.
