Snowboarding in New Zealand?

I am moving to New Zealand in a few months and I am thinking of going to Christchurch as I have been offered a job there.

I have been snowboarding in Queenstown in New Zealand before and know that it is a very good spot as it is surrounded by a lot of peaks you can ride.

I am just wondering if Christchurch is a good snowboarding spot or if not, where is?

Wanaka is 4 hours away! Bit of a hike but as good as it gets in NZ

I have been to Remarkables, Cardrona, Treble cone, Coronet and Snow Park....how would Mt Hutt near Christ Church compare to these??? Also is there anything up by Auckland apart from Snow Planet?
