Wild Mushrooms

Hi all.
Firstly, I am aware of restrictions regarding food safety etc posts. I am not looking to identify the fungi with the purpose of consuming them, it is just curiosity.

I take many walks in numerous woodlands etc in the slieve blooms area, and recently started photographing different fungi. When I try to identify them via apps or books I'm never 100% confident I've identified it accurately. There is always something that is marginaly different from the description or picture.

I must have 20-30 different types pictured. I'd really like to see if anyone here with a knowledge of fungi, walks these areas and if so, would mind if I accompanied them sometime.

If you like, I can send you some pics via pm for you to browse and maybe give me an identification on 1 or 2.

No im not! funnily enough I have come across them and they are probably the only type I can identify.
Knowing my luck anyway id have a bad trip.....FAI reappoint Steve Staunton as Rep of Ireland manager and give him 10 year contract.......Nnnnnooooooooo!!!!!
