We have an aqualisa aquastream that has died, its about 7 yrs old. Looking at our options at the moment, cost is important like everyone else.

    1. Replace full shower
    2. Try to have it repaired
    3. Put a pump in the hotpress to pump water through.

It seems to be the pump thats gone in the shower as there's no noise but water is still flowing and i can set the temp. The flow is ok but i'd like a stronger shower if possible.

    Any advice or thoughts ?

New pump for that model is £89.99 in the UK. If it's 7 yrs old might be as well off to change it out. Regarding adding a pump in the hot press your only giving your self extra potential problems down the road IMO.

Here's a link to help you decide if it's viable to repair etc.

There are companies supplying parts for them in Ireland but in true Irish fashion they done have prices on their sites.

With no noise and just basic pressuse i take it that its the pump then ?

It could also be a micro switch.
I would contact a parts supplier and get some prices, you could be looking at replacing both before finding the fault. They will advise you on your options.
