    hi guys my daughter is asking for tablet she is only 8 wondering which one is best she told me her friend got nabi2 any idea for some other brand or go for nabi2 basically she needs to play games thanks

    You'd be mad to spend more than 100 quid, 7" screen is fine.
    Kids don't notice performance or lag the way we would so stay below that price.
    There are literally 1,000's of decent rebranded Chinese tablets for that price or lower, look for a duo core minimum running 1GHz or over with 1GB or more of Ram, look for decent storage & the one main thing that none of them highlight, battery life.
    Kids never remember to charge then whinge when your 10 minutes into a 2 hour car journey & it's gone dead.
    Don't waste your money on HD screens as kids don't appreciate them in the same way.

    Don't let your kid play it in his top bunk like I did & find it smashed on the floor in the morning.

    Maybe the Archos gamepad. 7" tab with built in physical controllers.

    £75 on amazon, but you can try flubit.com to maybe get it a bit cheaper

    Not sure how child friendly it is however... and battery life does sound like an issue
