Outlook 365 problen sending emails

    Hi Guys

    I have outlook 365 and any time I send an email to an email address @yahoo.ie or @yahoo.co.uk it bounces back even tough Im replying to the email. This has been going for for a couple of weeks now, I have no problem sending to any other email address.

    Any ideas?

    Maybe your provider/server/address has blacklisted by Yahoo?

    Did you check the bounce message from the Yahoo postmaster? Does it say something like "temporarily deferred due to user complaints"

    Who is your email provider?

    Do you have an alternative email address? If so, can you send form this address to the recipient(s) in question?

    When you say "Outlook 365" do you mean you are using the Outlook application on your desktop, or the Outlook web application in your browser?

    It sounds like you are using the Outlook application on your desktop and the SMTP settings are wrong.

    Not necessarily, the fact that it retried, rather than immediately rejecting would suggest that the address is OK.
    Yahoo can frequently block all mail incoming from a particular IP, might be something off with the domain SPF or other.

    There should be a three digit SMTP error code starting with 5. within the message delivery failed response that allows more clarification on the problem.
