I miss the way Thursdays used to be.

I've been struggling to find new shows to watch as of late. So far the only ones I enjoy are Suits, which is on Tuesday (so watch it Wednesday morning) and Breaking Bad, which is on Sunday (so watch it on Thursday morning). What I absolutely miss is the way Thursdays used to be- I mean you'd get the Office, Community, Parks and Rec, and even the shortlived Outsourced. It just seems like there aren't any days of the week that pack that level of entertainment in them!

What days of the week do you miss for your televisual pleasure? And which days of the week do you think will be the best in days to come?

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The League are on in the US on a Wednesday and as such, Thursdays are sorted.

Don't forget that Sons of Anarchy is back so there's your Thursday drama.

I know but if you're looking for some good drama to fill an empty Thursday it's worth saving for a day or so.

Why is Saturday night always an entertainment black hole?

In the States they show good shows like The Good Wife on Saturday but here we get a smattering of old B movies and a few repeat shows from during the week.

Surely the entire country of Ireland and UK aren't out on Saturday after 9 ?

Sunday nights/ Mondays for us are the best atm. We have Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Newsroom, Ray Donovan, and soon Homeland, Masters of Sex, Walking Dead etc.

Everything else really only has one or two shows.

Thursday nights = Smash and Trollied.

I also have badminton when both of them are on.

Now the great Irish bake off is starting on Thurs at the same time and Sky can only record two things at once!
