What to wear with navy

I've a few navy tops which I team with jeans. What colour skirt would I wear with them? I normally wear black tights. Are there other options?

any suggestions to what colour tights to wear with a navy pencil skirt?

I have one for work that I really only wear in the summer with bare legs. I don't think black tights look right with it.

Great thanks, I should have thought of that!! Grey or navy could work, might be too cold soon for nude tights.

I think you should mix it up with maybe a bit more of a pattern skirt especially if the top is plain. I don't mean anything mad but just a bit. The problem I find with putting plain navy with plain grey or charcoal or baby blue while it does surely go it can make you look like you work in the post office i.e. it has a bit of a uniform look to it. But it does go.
