Just keep trying is all you can do, someone will be stuck for a driver one day and take a chance with you, just need to be in the right place at the right time,

    Or try a driver agency..

It has been that way for a long a time in the transport industry, Your young have the licence but no company will employ you do to no experience on the road,You could always try agency work although some do require you to have some experience driving plus the money offered these days for driving a truck is absolute sh*te for the responsibility you have.

When you're inexperienced, conpanies will be reluctant to give you a chance. My advice would be to go for agency work. It's unreliable but you build up experience and often end up with a job offer from one of the companies you drive for.

I would also recommend trying to get your ADR hazardous goods licence. Since I got mine, there's been a lot of jobs mentioned to me (although I'm UK so there may be some differences)

Best of luck though, I really enjoyed driving for a living.

Not many trunk driving jobs about even for experience drivers, alot of us were made redundant last year from a well known courier company all with HGV license, a year later only one or two have full time work, rest just get temp work or one off days.
dont just look for driving, look for anything is my advice, im in same boat, been drivng since i left school, thats my problem , no experience in anything else.

what agencys are the best for driving jobs?

To be honest the lot of them are a shower of lying f**ks they will promise you the world and leave you waiting on a phone call from them to see if you have work the following day,If you look at any job websites you will see the same companies pop up,But they are starting to look for lads with experience which they never did before.
A part from certain companies who hire directly the driving game is gone to f**K I haven't worked for an agency in nearly two years,And there is no way that I would again unless the T&C are good.
