Can the person drive their own Car or does it have to be the policy holders Car?

Say Mr. A owns a car, he has an insurance policy and the registration number of his car is on the cert. For whatever reason, he adds Mr. B as a 'named driver' to the policy.

In that situation, Mr. B is covered to drive Mr. A's car. Now if Mr. B happens to own his own car, he will need to take out a separate policy in his own name since being named on Mr. A's policy only covers him to drive Mr. A's car and no other.

    Does that answer your question?
