Tesco have a new voucher offer on for various Fissler pots and pans:

    http://www.tesco.com/direct/fissler/

Some very good prices for quality pots. Not a big fan of aluminium pans so won't be getting those though.

Last time they had Rosenthal pots on offer and I'm very happy with what I picked up there.

Not dissing the specific brands but wouldn't you be as well off going to TKMaxx and picking up a Tefal set or whatever for roughly the same price?

I've never heard of any of the brands that Tesco promote with the stamp offers and I suspect it's offer-specific goods, and they're never for sale at the 'rrp' quoted. They may be fine quality but there's a lot of tricky marketing going on with those deals.

If you don't shop in Tesco these are probably not worth going for. If you do your regular shopping here anyway (which I do) they are a better price than you'll find in TK Maxx.
Also, vouchers are usually easy to come by - people give them away, cashiers often give you more than you need, and they can be got on eBay. Also, there's a chance that if these don't sell out Tesco will sell them without the vouchers after the promo has ended.

Fissler is a very good, high quality German brand. I have a set of Fissle pots which have been in heavy use for more than 20 years (bought January '93) and they are still perfect.
Have a look on amazon.de to get an idea of prices.

They've all been reputable brands before, but the claimed RRP is definitely a bit off.

I can totally agree with this, all of my family have these pans/pots for years and they still are as good as new.

Hopefully the current products match up?

a ridiculous comment. Fissler is a very well known and respected brand of cookware.

How is it ridiculous? For something to be offered at such a discount suggests that it's only at that price point, quality wise.
Regardless of the quality of other products in the range, which may be much better.
The tesco ones may well be quality goods, but I asked if a Tefal product at the same price in TKMaxx wouldn't be just as good.

Interesting, I'd seen the brand somewhere before but didn't know if they were any good. Might check out the tesco ones, thx
