    Master Carpenter in the opener tomorrow could be well handicapped, didn't think he was far off listed class and a mark of 89 could be exploitable each way at 12/1, though as a rule of thumb I wouldn't like to get heavily involved in 2 year old handicaps.


    Ahern in the second last is a real risky one at 25/1, first try at seven he looked a really top class 2 year old but hasn't trained on, though his sliding mark catches the eye and is worth a small each way but big questions to answer, though did run with some promise back in Newmarket in July off a mark of 95, running on strongly over 6
