    Very sad news today about Dean Powell Frank Warrens matchmaker and long time manager and cornerman to a who's who of British boxers.

    Suicide I think although it hasn't been confirmed as far as I know he was calling a good few people in the boxing community over the weekend telling them how much they meant to him.

    Unfortunately seems to be the case. A man loved and respected by many in the industry. Saw him at a bill at the York Hall in July, just seemed business as usual, most of the time these things get hidden so well :(

    A sad loss to boxing and of course his family, RIP Dean.
