    Ive been told an engineer will call to install fibre for vf,as my current modem is about 20ft away from the main socket will there be a problem.

    You can ask for a 'Data Extension Kit' to be fitted, but it will cost you.

    Didn't need anything extra after all as the engineer said the existing cable would do so up and running 7 times faster than before!
