Just looking for recommendations on websites that are good for Maths resources for Primary School?
Stuff like metre sticks, weighing scales, counters, etc.

Any suggestions would be great :)

    Thanks in advance,
    Cathal.

Thanks! I'll definitely give them a look.

Has anybody ever used Michael Doherty School Supplies?
The website looks great, they seem to have a lot of stuff I'm looking for but haven't heard of them. Any opinions?

What maths scheme is used in your school? We bought lovely number fans, counters and the like for infants through the publishers of Planet Maths.

We use Planet Maths too. Must look into that, thanks :)
In the end I took a chance and ordered a load of stuff from Michael Doherty - weighing scales, metre sticks, measuring containers, etc.
    Will report back :)

Their art stuff is top quality too.

I would really recommend the string beads for learning how to multiply and divide in 3rd class. The teacher one is great, 1cm thick beads for measures (a bendy metre stick), colour coded into blocks of ten for patterns and counting, and so easy to model for the children to copy. The children's version is 0.5cm thick too.

I have bought from their shop, but not their website. They have been in business a long time. Prices aren't always cheapest but you can be lucky!

Would definitely recommend Nexus also. Can be pricey, but the quality is worth it.
