Where can I pick mussels?

    Does anyone know of any Donegal beaches that have accessible rocks to pick mussels?

    I remember being told to wait for the first frost before picking mussels. I got them before at Mountcharles and Rathmullan a long time ago.

    Thank you. Rathmullen is near. I didn't know about the frost thing. Only knew about waiting for an 'r' in the month.

    I'm sure there are pleany of places on the road between Rathmullen and Ramelton when the tide is out.
