Hello I am thinking about doing this course next year, and would be grateful if anyone could give me some information about it? Careers etc. Also is it a hard course to get into? I have a degree in History and Politics, and I am currently doing a masters in Politics. Ideally I would like to work for the United Nations, I know it's a long road but I'm hoping I might get there eventually.

Didn't do it myself (though I am currently doing a PhD in the Human Rights Centre).
From what I hear, the NUIG programme is well respected. I did my LLM in the UK and NUIG was mentioned quite a lot. I know a few people who've graduated from it. Some are doing PhDs, one is working in the DFA, another is training Palestinian cops in human rights and some others are unemployed so ultimately, it's like a lot of things in that it is what you make of it.
