Hi my mother needs to get online access to her qualification details to the teaching council.
She graduated in 1978(degree) and 1979 (HDip) in NUIG.
Anyone know how to do it?
    Thanks

as far as I know you cant get actual access...if you are registered with the TC you can see what your teaching subjects are..and the degree subjects you took but that's about it..if she is qualified as long as that and was teaching when the TC was founded then she wont have even had to send the TC evidence of her qualifications...people were simply asked to fill in a form. If she isn't currently registered then she will need to get her actual qualifications checked and jump through the hoops as required by the TC:confused:

If she has a teaching council number she can get online access through the following link.
    https://gemini.teachingcouncil.ie/services/p_wwv_tc_logon
If she dosen't have a password if she clicks on create new password and enters her pps number and date of birth and teaching council number she will be able to get access.
    Hope that helps.

OP, do you mean online access to her original results etc through the college, instead of posting transcripts to the TC? If that is the case it's unlikely she will be able to do that for results that are that far back. It would be worth contacting NUIG to see if they can arrange something? They will post them out if nothing else.

I think it said somewhere on the application to register form that you may give the teaching council permission to access your results online somewhere but I took that to mean if you can, perfectly acceptable to send certified copies of results and parchments instead.
