When searching for available seats there are no flight days shown for November from Bristol to Knock. Usually it is Weds/Fri/Sun. Octobers is there but not Nov.

    Anyone any idea why?

Probably their (Ryanair's) agreement with either airport is coming to an end and by not taking bookings they can show the airport that unless they get the deal they want they'll stop the route.

Maybe these flights are only for the summer schedule. The end of October is the changeover from summer to winter schedule.

I used that route occasionally in the past and over Winter I would have gone through Dublin as there were no flights available.

Aerlingus and Ryan Air go several times a day from Dublin and the Bus from Dublin to Sligo Bus Eireann stops at terminal 2 where you get the bus to the car park.

No, they're still using other routes out of both airports. My money's on the route not being profitable or seasonal.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

    Thank you for your replies.

I will wait until the end of Sept then if they don't appear I will book an alternative airline/airport.

I wonder if direct contact with Knock or Bristol airports would reveal anything. I might give that a go.

I was/am trying to book a flight from Knock to Birmingham in Nov. I booked it last year in August, but this year can't yet, I have emailed Knock twice and got back a waffle answer, I also rang Aer Lingus last week, did not get a definitive answer, but most likely the flight is not going ahead. So book a flight from Dublin I think Knock wont have many flights over the winter. Disappointed if I have to go to Dublin.

Knock to Bristol is seasonal since October 2012.

Aer Lingus will not be operating Birmingham from Knock for the winter, a new carrier is expect to be announced in the next week or so. Mostly likely Flybe.

Flybe are doing the new Birmingham route, four times a week during the week and increasing to daily during the summer months.

New late weekend flights to and from London on a Friday & Sunday also coming up. The airport should be a little busier this winter than previous years.

Thanks. yes, I had already checked these out and are an alternative if nothing from Bristol.

I e-mailed Bristol, Knock and Ryanair. Bristol and Knock both mailed back to tell me to contact Ryanair and guess what?....... Nothing from Ryanair. No surprise there. They have been forced to provide an E-Mail address for customers but there is nothing that says they have to answer any mails!

Just had a response from Ryanair after repeated mails.

"In regards to your recent correspondence please be advised that this route is not available during Winter."

Thats the end of that then. Off to Fybe I go.

Flybe is expensive Knock to Birmingham, defiantly if you need to bring a bag :-(

They are not that bad actually. £43 Bir to Knock. £35 Knock to Birmingham. Still works out cheaper than driving into Dublin from Mayo.

Mine by the time, I paid for a bag, and other charges worked out at E154 per person, have you booked yet or are you just looking at initial fare prices. I went to Gatwick in the Summer for E55(exc bag), it just adds up when its a leisure break, car park E27, development fee, E10 per person, all before you leave Knock at all.....

Just gone through the booking process.

Return flights - Total of £79.73 including tax and charges, with single cabin bag. ( Extra £18.99 if I want to increase size of bag.... which I don't).

Compared to £54 last time I flew with Ryanair. Not a bad deal.

Good for you, it could be the dates also, and I do need to bring a bag.
