    Hi,
I know this topic has been discussed plenty but I've resigned myself to needing to replace either the timing chain or the sensor in my car (engine warning light has been coming on and off for the past year, but only recently noticed a loss of power occasionally; no noise from engine as far as i can tell; rev meter never sits, it always bounces slightly even when not accelerating). From a bit of research it looks like I could buy a timing chain kit myself for around €200. Just wanted an idea of what I should be paying for labour and if this is a guaranteed fix as much as anything can be guaranteed. Also recently had head gasket checked and there's no damage there (if that's relevant). Cheers for any advice

In our experience the cheap timing chain kits don't last. Just fit a genuine Nissan chain only and it should be ok.
