Hi, just looking for some thoughts. My wife is thinking of buying a car it's kinda down to two ATM with a 2011 nissan quasqai 1.5 for about 17000 or a 2011 Astra from Northern Ireland for 10stg vrt is 2200 but is based on an OMSP of 23000 when they sell for fifteen or thereabouts.

The vrt estimate shows the original omsp but also has depreciation shown.
Theres a lot of middle ground between an astra and a qashqai though. Bit of an unusual shortlist

Yeah I know, she drives quite a bit so something really safe (quasqai) but she's got no kids so is thinking kinda sporty (Astra is white)

Dont bank on the Nissan being safer. Its inheritanly less safe with a higher centre of gravity and sloppy handling

Yeah and my observation that the steering wheel was too small for the size of the car got a laugh outta the dealer.....seriously it's like it's out of a micra
