    I don't see any thread on this yet. This year's Morgan Sparrow Sportif (formerly Around the Mountains) is on this Saturday, Sept 14. It's a tough, but enjoyable, 120km, taking in the Sally Gap and Wicklow Gap. It's organised by Lucan CRC, Usher IRC and the Air Corp. Always a hugely enjoyable day out, and the weather forecast is looking good too!

    I did this last year. Great day. One of the best organised sportives on the calendar.
    Breakfast, food stop and dinner all included.
    Last year, there were two groups. Each group stays together until the climbs, then regroup at the top of the Wicklow Gap, where The Air Corps set up a tent for the food stop, then each group stays together to the finish.
    The marshalling is outstanding.in fact, everything about the spin is pretty faultless.
    I'm really looking forward to taking part again, this year.

    Currently just over 150 entries taken. Be aware that they are strict on the 200 limit.
