My A4 needs a service and it is a 09, I was using Audi in Drogheda and they are now VW. I was thinking Discount tyres at 180 euro for full or should I give it to Audi north at €300 to keep the Audi service or does it really matter with a 4 year old?

I've never had a car serviced at discount but i've had plenty of tyres fitted there,i've seen their workshop and staff in action and i don't think i'd have any issues with letting them service my car.

It's only my personal preference but if i go to an Indy i always specify they use Audi parts - this might bunk the discount price up a little (or maybe not) but worth asking about.

Would you not send it up North given how close you are? Do Donnellys have a service department?

look at back page of sunday world newspaper! and the VW advert there will give you a clue as to where to bring the car for service. They describe all the engine parts in diagram form with parts named such as toiletseat, joystick and potatoe.names that seem apt as my 09 passat had an engine made from cottage cheese and disintigrated in 2011 with 24000 miles completed

Discount tyres - I have see people are happy with the servicing, I got some work with them and they seem like a good bunch. On one occasion they told me I need 1 Tyre not 2 for my wife's car. The car was lying up for a bit and the had perished a bit.
