If a partner claims JSA (short term) and OH is on DA would they be eligible for the fuel allowance.

Or does the JSA have to be long term, 390days.

The person on DA should qualify for FA. The person on JSA wont qualify.

    thanks eastbono,

one more question, should the person on DA apply for FA once the OH starts a claim for JSA (which he will be eligible for) or wait till claim for JSA is approved.

Once the OH stops working then the person on DA should apply for FA or they can wait until a jsa claim is made.
