Assuming you mean opens? Best place to check out is GUI website: http://www.gui.ie/home/playing-golf/open-fixtures.aspx

    Plenty of options there.

I'm playing in intermediate scratch cup on Saturday in Knockanally. Only €12 entry fee and it's a lovely course.

    Hi,
Your biggest problem this time of the year will be finding 2 open comps on any where over a weekend.

Played Druids Glen and Heath a couple of months ago, Druid Heath is an excellent course but tough, you'll need to bring your A game otherwise bring plenty of balls.

    Enjoy:D

That's a great trip you booked you will love it.

The Heath is good but not a patch on the Glen, an unreal course.

Well that was a fun few days the golf was poor played the heath on monday 2.30 tee in savage wind i lost 9balls a very very tough course not for a hacker like me. Course was in great condition but my god its some test. Hit 108 shots couldnt get into the fairways bar quick enough. Hotel is very nice the twin room we had was huge,it wasnt easy getting out of the bed at 7am on tue with a sore head for a 9.10 teetime on the glen. So we pull up get out the bags & it only started to pissdown. Now it rained the entire round but didnt stop us enjoying this gem of a golf course the place is stunning. It has 4 of the best par3 holes ive ever seen the fairways like carpet the greens like snooker table cloth. It rained so heavy the greens held alot of water so it was hard going hit 105 shots but not bothered ive played druids glen my new favourite golf course by a mile, cant wait to return worth every penny of its green fee.
