Problem - Vertical line on TV

Hi - just yesterday my TV started to flash up a line every 5 seconds or so for no apparent reason.
I use free to air satellite.
Any ideas how to eliminate this please?

    Thank you

If it is a walker return it to retailer. It is an LCD screen issue otherwise replace LCD screen if unable to return.

Sorry - I mixed up my verticals with my horizontals - its a HORIZONTAL line, its not a walker screen and its well beyond bringing back date.

    Thanks

If you change the input source, i.e switch to DVD, Aerial, Games Console, etc...
    Does the line still appear?
If the line still appears on a different source, then the issue is with your TV(And it likely is a TV issue) but if the issue is confined to your Sat input only then the problem is with your receiver or connections.

Thanks for your advice - there's no problem when I play a DVD on the TV so I guess you're right - it must be the SAT input or maybe the SAT box.
I did check the wires coming into the SAT box and going from SAT box to the TV but it didn't repair the problem,

    Thanks again

Try your sat box at a friends or neighbours house to see if it is the issue.
