I'm looking to find a camera that can be triggered externally, by a switch or another method, preferable a film camera and not expensive, it can be an old camera (within reason), doesn't have to be a brand new model.

    Thanks in advance.

Pretty much every SLR has the ability to do that. There are wired and wireless methods. all pretty cheap

Sorry for my ignorance but can you recommend a reliable/cheap/even second hand camera with this capability. I'm aware that Kodak stopped making 35mm film (hope I'm correct in this, if not feel free to correct me) I would be looking for a camera that I'll be able to purchase film for the near future also.

I'm looking to get about 5/6 of these cameras, thanks in advance and sorry about all the questions.

Maybe go in to John Gunn (Gunn's) Camden street and have a chat with him... he might have a few secondhand camera's in

you could buy a reasonable camera and get an intervalometer fairly cheap they usually have a shoot button on them as well so you can manually fire the shutter.

Kodak are still making lots of B&W and colour negative films in 35mm. They recently stopped production of transparency films only.
