    MY plug on my 2 year macbook has basically gave up on its self and i am wondering where is the cheapest place to pick up a plug for it

    Your best option is the Apple store. I myself wouldn't risk third party power cords for such a high end computer.

    But where would be the cheapest real one as i would not dare but a knock off into my macbook

    Your best bet is either talk to the guys at pc world or harvey norman. Or buy direct from the apple.ie store


    PS i actually got one pretty cheap from expert electrical in Naas, Kildare.

    The internet is your friend. Use Google Shopping or any number of websites. I'd 100% purchase that online. And not from Apple.

    I know it says US only but I've heard of locals getting replacements too
