Does it still be mental in the morning? Going to Spain 18th sept with the other half and toddler.

Is it worth checking in the day before?

Early morning is very busy. Least busy time is between 11am and 12noon. I arrived in T2 at 11.15am and there was only 4 people in the queue and no queue for security. Girl checking us in said this was the best time of the day

When was that? I'm guessing sept with kids back in school will be less busy?

That was July. I am not sure if it will be less busy in September. I was also in T2 in April on a Saturday and it was bedlam. Massive queues

If you're close to the airport, then checking baggage the night before makes a lot of sense, if you're not, then just give yourself plenty of time when you get there in the morning and you'll be grand. It's still very busy though at the moment in the mornings.

Airport has really quietened down over the last 2 weeks. still busy but nothing like it was for the summer. Going to spain i presume its Aer lingus and i cant see what their check in is like cause im over on the far side. but come 8.15 there is still a moderate que but you'd get through it quickly. Aer Lingus move group check in beside us so that takes a load off. Because your not travelling for another week its going to be a little bit quieter again.
