Personally don't like the lack of service history. But if you like it and can knock a few quid off the asking price, go for it. It's only money after all !

I know the seller and the story behind the car.

It's mine for 750 if I want it but I'd have to go and get it. I've bought from him before.

The mileage is genuine and he can print out the history as it's been serviced their from new. The previous owner died and it's been in his shed for nearly two years. I think the family dumped the history during a clean out.

The car was prepped for sale and then the buyer pulled out. He wants it gone now.

    Yes and no.

The sills rot like hell on these. They all go in the middle too and cost a bomb to sort.

Then go for it. You obviously like the car and trust the seller. For that money you really can't go wrong.

They were made from 1986 onwards and even the best ones go for small money.
