Winter Training

I have just completed my first year of triathlon. Did 2 sprints and 5/6 club tri's/duathlons/aquathons.
Over the winter I will be based in Dublin and not be able to train with my home club. What would people recommend I do for the winter. Long rides at weekends? Invest in a turbo for evenings.
I hope to do a bit of cross country if I have the time but what else would people recommend?

You don't need to join a club in Dublin.

You may have to pay some cash to do the sessions but most clubs have no issue with a cluchie cousin tagging along to sessions while racing under their own club colours.
