Advice needed on Android powered in car entertainment system

    Bit of a background:

I want to put a headrest mounted tablet into my car for my daughter to watch films on on long journeys.

I need advice on an inexpensive 7" tablet to put into the headrest that will do the job. Mostly I have a mixture of Avi,MKV and Mp4 files that Id like to play back on it so the tablet would need to be able to handle the files without having to go through the hassle of converting them.

    So basic requirements is that:

Its android( For ease of use and availability of apps etc )
It can handle the video types above
It has an sd card slot
    It has wifi
It has bluetooth so I can playback the sound from it through the cars system if needs be
It has a decent speaker so she can hear it when its strapped to the headrest

Some of the tablets I have been thinking about:

    Nexus 7 1st gen
Blackberry playbook ( can these be rooted to android?)
    Kindle Fire

Powering the system I have under control.

Could anyone advise as to which would be the best tablet to use for the job? And maybe even suggest a few apps that could be used to make it easier. Im coming from an IOS background and only recently ditched the iPhone5 for a HTC One so this whole environment is still new to me.

    Many thanks in advance..

Bar the SD slot the Nexus seems like a good choice, but im sure if your building it into a head rest you could wire an OTG cable to handle an external source. Only thing is im not sure if you can power and use OTG at the same time, pity the N7 has no pogo pins.

actually there is a few videos on youtube of N7 installs , might be worth a look.
