Hey all,

I think I was captured by camera van last month over the speed limit. Anyways was over the limit so will take the points and fine and thats it. However was on holidays the last few weeks and got back and there is a registered post for me but too late to collect in office as over a week ago the delivery was attempted.

This is the only thing I can think for that would be coming out delivered so wondering do speeding fines get sent ordinary or reg post?

Ordinary post. Can arrive anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 months after the offence, in my experience.

If you haven't received it after a month I would call into a local garda station to see if the fine is on the system. If the letter did get misplaced, no point ending up with a summons

What address is car regged to? That's where fine is sent.
