Is the Energy Android Smart TV box compatible with BBC iPlayer?

    Just one small (Big question) for my needs re this Android streaming box.

    Does it play/receive BBC iPlayer?

    there's an iPlayer app on the Play-store which should work on any Android 4+ box (you'll need to jump through a few hoops to get it working in Ireland though).

    yeah - you need a UK proxy to be able to see it on the Play Store in the first place - a free one will do for this (and you can do this from your PC)

    then you need some proxy or DNS redirection app on the box itself to watch the programmes once it's installed - I tried using Hola (which is free) but had mixed results. Might be worth paying for something like Tunnelbear if you're planning to watch a lot of stuff on it.
