Mobile broadband questions

    Hi all,

    Looking for some advice re mobile broadband providers, I'm moving into a new place where fixed line broadband won't be an option and so I'm looking into mobile broadband.

    I'm wondering whether any of the providers are good enough to stream live sport like soccer, American football etc?.And if this is extremely heavy on the cap usage?

    It'll be in the Dublin 9 area so also wondering who people have had good experiences with there?

    Three have a download allowance of 60GB which i think is the biggest cap out there.

    I've had 3 in the city and have been able to stream very well. But if your in the sticks it wont work very well from experience it depends on your distance to the mast. Since your in Dublin though i presume it will be good.

    After 3, meteor is probably your best bet, I have a 30gig allowance (possibly 50gig) but you should trial them all for a week (FOC) to see which offers you best signal strength and fewest users on a cell. Don't forget 4g will be up and running soon (we hope) and they will surely up speeds and download limits, so take your time and find out which operators will be switching on 4g first.
