    Hi, does anyone know if there is a bag wrap station in T2 ( cling film type thing ) and were its located if there is. Thanks

    There are no bag wrapping stations in any Irish airport afaik.

    Why bother bag wrapping? I've traveled a lot and havent done it and never understood why you would do it?.. You don't need it.

    Magnet for thieves surely, it's like putting a label on the bag 'this bag contains valuable jewellery, electronics and cameras'.

    Self-defeating as far as I'd be concerned plus it's a challenge to the customs people to pull you over when you get to your destination.

    Put the bag in the boot of a coach when you arrive and it will be the first one stolen by an opportunistic thief who gets off before you.

    Drawing attention to yourself when travelling is a recipe for disaster. Better to use a beat-up bag that looks like you are a student on a tight budget rather than behave like a high roller and pay some guy in the airport to wrap your precious bag in plastic film.

    youve been having problems with this flight for a while now...threads on taking Jameson in hold luggage through, threads on what currency's to take..2 separate threads a month apart asking about taking personal meds through..another one asking about taking a safety razor through...

    when are you actually taking this flight???????

    Relax and stop worrying..its not worth it :)
