Journey from Ringsend Road to Pigeon House Road

Hey there

I will be starting work very soon but I'm not too familiar with pigeon house rd...I dont know how to get to pigeon house road from ringsend rd can someone please help me.

Where on Pigeon House Road? It starts at the junction of Cambridge Road and York Road in Ringsend and goes all the way to the power stations at Poolbeg. However, it is split by the Toll Bridge Road and the South Bank container terminal.

Do you know what bus goes there?

You can get a No.1 or 47 from the city centre to Tritonville road, and walk from there, or some buses on the No.18 go to Sean Moore Rd. which is much nearer.

Which departures on 18's serve Sean Moore Road?

They used to, however it was just used as a turning point. They entered service at Sandymount Green. They now terminate on Newgrove Avenue.

I have checked with the controller this morning and he tells me that all the No.18's are supposed to service Sean Moore Rd.
The first one this morning, the 6.20 from palmerstown went there, but subsequent one's didn't. I have a feeling there is some kind of unofficial agreement that they only go down if there is someone looking for it, as there are no pick-up stops.

Sean Moore Road can be prone to awful traffic at weird times of the day. I wouldn't blame a driver from holding off making it down there unless he had to.
