Windows 8.1 - Couldn't Mount File

I downloaded Windows 8.1, error coming up saying Couldn't Mount file. I tried it from the C: drive then copied to a USB drive and same message coming up. Any tips greatly appreciated.

The release version ships on the 18th of October I'd personally just wait. The preview appears more buggy than the current, stable release of 8.0 and the 8.1 preview is as-is, with no real support.
