    Hey there,

thinking of moving to Garristown. From what I can see there's virtually no public transport from there but it's only a 10 minute drive to Ashbourne.
I cant make sense of the buseireann site to save my life. Could anyone give me any advice on how long the bus journey would be from Ashbourne to the city centre at around 7am?
Also, we're probably looking to do the impossible here but Ashbourne to Dun Laoighre...does anyone have any insider tips?

Around 35 minutes from the Kelly's stop to O'Connell St.

For DunLaoghaire either get off at OCS and take the 7 bus or stay on to Beresford Place and get the train from Tara Street.

Another 15 mins beyond Ashbourne via Ratoath will bring you to M3 Parkway Railway Station. Free parking and leaving from there at 0650 will bring you into Dun Laoghaire at 0805 with two easy changes

Sounds mad it you are going as far as Dún Laoghaire. You'll be looking at 1h20-1h30 minimum at rush hour.

Would you at least live in Ashbourne, Swords or somewhere on the railway line between Malahide and Balbriggan?

BE cancelled the direct bus service through Garristown (the 102) over three years ago. Of course, thanks to government (over)-regulation, a restart by a private company is not viable.

The fact that virtually no one was using it may also have something to do with it.
