Just started pre-med in Dublin and after one week I can see that this lifestyle will leave me begging in the streets within a couple of months. Anyone able to tell me how to go about getting a job in Dublin, preferably in the D4 area near UCD? i.e. websites, students' unions, etc. and what type of part-time work best suits a student? Evenings and weekends.

If you are a person willing to work in health care you may try "nurse on call" agency for part time job. There is also a few agencies offering flexible hours in home care jobs.
Some of them require a special training before you start.

You pretty much have to be qualified before they will take you on. Or at the very least have existing qualifications. That was my understanding from talking to friends.

Depending on where you are living, you can find work pretty much anywhere. The biggest problem will be balancing your study and work life. Employers want people who can do decent hours without having to adjust for your schedule. There are plenty of people out of college and unemployed who can easily take these slots having no other commitments.

I seen a job ad outside the careers office on the pillar.

Something about insurance and training, can't really remember but maybe go in there anyway and ask for help.

I don't think there's enough bouncers in the world to deal with that lot.
