Flat roof repair

    I don't want to give product names but there is an advert that interests me for repairing flat roofs and the idea is a liquid coating around a polyester membrane .

    Actually it is called MultiShield Flexistop Roof Coating so you can Google it if you want.

    But I can't see how the ingredients can be bought separately from the contractor.

    Has anyone any input as to how I could get an equivalent product (and whether this particular product is actually any different from what would be easily available) ?
