To keep things short, I have large thighs, they get in the way and are embarrassing, basically my issue is that I can't find jeans that fit and also I need some kind of exercise to get rid of them.

So - where can I but larger Jeans

    and

What is an efficient exercise to lose weight in thighs

    Thanks!

Big as in muscular or big as in fat?

Have you tried losing weight along with exercise?

Without knowing your shape or size u wouldn't really know where to tell you to shop. Maybe you could try Evans, I think they do plus size clothes.

Not sure where to go for jeans...maybe Dorothy Perkins? Shops like New Look, etc have a range for larger sizes such as the Inspire range.
As for slimming down your thighs...there is no such thing as spot-reducing. In order to slim down the thighs, you'll need to reduce your overall body fat. The best way to slim down is to combine cardio with weight training. Good luck!:)

You can't lose fat in a targeted way, you just loose fat all over.... trying jogging or stationary bike.

What I would wonder is do you need to lose weight generally?
Do you have particularly developed muscles in your thighs?
Why are you focussed on this area in particular?

Well this area in particular is the biggest problem since I can't find trousers that fit! haha.

I thought I'd have no luck with the losing weight in a specific area :/ Thanks though.

If its big muscle, then you need to take less protein, your muscle will become smaller. If its fat, then less carbohydrate food, no more potatoes. Don't try to exercise too much before you lose weight.

And don't wear jeans, wear skirts.

Lunges, squats, side plank leg lifts might tighten the muscles if your thighs are a bit flabby but unfortunately targeted weight loss isn't possible you have to lose weight overall.

I'm assuming that you are female, not male. Can you give us a sense of your overall proportions? I too have heavier thighs, which means that skinny jeans etc are never going to be my friends. However, bootcut jeans etc are still good, particularly in the American brands

We all come in different shapes and sizes and so long as you are not heavy allover and you don't need to diet then just accept yourself as you are. You don't have to conform to a particular shape. It would be pretty boring if we were all the same shape. Your personality will far outshine your shape.

The OP didn't ask for self esteem advice, he/she can't get jeans to fit their legs, so want exercise or indeed shopping advice. If you can't fit your legs into pants that's a physical problem, not an emotional/how you see yourself problem.

OP are your legs big and muscular or carrying extra weight? Are you male or female?

Spinning is a great way to work out your legs..

+1 on cutting back on the carbs.. also watch what you're drinking.. I think sometimes people can get hung up on what they're eating and forget that a lot of calories come in liquid form..

Drink as much water as you can during the day.. cut out sugary drinks altogether if you partial to them.. use a low fat sweetener in your tea/coffee.. that makes a big difference imho.
