Hello, my boyfriend (Italian) and me (non EU) will apply for the facto relationship at the end of the month.
At the moment I have an Stamp 2 visa that will be due on 14 November 2013.

We've been together for more than 2 years and we are living together for more or less 2 years already.
I was reading other post about this and I saw that INIS require to have bills under the name of both, the thing for us is that either of us has bills under our names but what we do have is letter of my current and previous flatmate that we give them money monthly to pay our bills. Also we are planning to put in our application a proof of the bill that it is under that person name.

We already have more or less everything ready to be send by register post to INIS.
    What we have is:
*introductory letter (story of how we met and all that)
*a letter form RCSI where my BF is working and how much he is getting pay per year.
*a Health insurance under his name but I'm in it as a Dependant
    *Statement of our share account
*Mails and facebook screenshot of 2011 / 2012 and 2013
*Letter from our previous landlord saying that we rent a room and we lived together (me and my boyfriend) in 2012 and we pay the rent on time to him
    *Letters from friends
*Letter from my current and previous flatmate saying that they received money from us and that we lived with them.
*Residential letting (contract) of my current apartment
*Letter from the PRTB confirming that we live in this address
*Electricity bills under my flatmates name (current and previous)
    *Fly tickets
    *Photos
*and last the ticket that we bought to go to Argentina in December together.

Do I need something else?? any extra tip??

Thank you for your time!! :)

Hi, I'm curious as to how your application went? I'm currently undergoing the lengthy and painful process -.-

    Hi there,
I started my application Sept 2013, I got a reply by end of April 2014 stating that my DeFacto application has been rejected because there was not enough proof that my boyfriend and I are living together despite mentioning that we lived in a sharing for the time. It is a painful waiting but there is no other way. The funny thing is that we did mention in our application that we were getting married soon. 3 months after the rejected application we got married and within 6 weeks of applying again for a spouse visa i finally got my stamp 4. Have patience dear..

Hello people who anyhow linked to this uneasy topic :)
I have applied for the de facto 11 weeks ago. Has anyone applied recently? Each time I ask INIS how long I should wait they increase weeks more and more. As far as I understood their explanations after you applied you have to wait for the first answer where they will say that my application has been accepted for processing. And then you wait again about 6 months to receive the answer: YES or NO. I will drop telling my concern about all these rules about two years and so on, and how we can live together and be happy without all of these painful processes.
How long should I wait more to receive at least any answer? And if they reject, do they do it straight away or they will first take into process and then after 6 months they can give the certain answer?
    Looking forward for answers, please!!!
