    Is the 4wd working?

never an engine problem, falls apart otherwise, if it fits your job go for it , about €1000

Its like this now most of these are better value if they are revamped to a WORKING state (i.e all mechanisms work) and just kept in use. Plus the 4wd zetors im told are a good yoke. Do you know what horse power it is?

    it,s 67 horsepower ,

Shes good enough to pull trailers in the bog and pull a roller... but if it owes you nothing you migjtaswell sell it. If you post up some pictures we can give you a definite price

There's a lot to be said for knowing something secondhand, otherwise buying something so cheap is a complete gamble

If hes local try and borrow it first (if ya havent already) and just use it for exactly what you intend for it to do. If ya find she has too many flaws for your jobs then either factor it into your costs or leave it

Good advice. Lift a heavy bale and top some thick rushes and that will let you know pretty much all you need to know (would you agree Mechanic?)

Edit: except for front axle and loader work!

Well heres my fathers advice, "buy an honest machine from an honest man!" but me myself am the kinda lad that listens to the tappets and looks at the smoke while pulling up a hill (Turbo gone ;-).
But there is nothing as good as knowing how a perfect zetor should run when looking at a seconed hand one because you will then spot every little flaw, unusual sound, gear crunch etc..
