Advice on Observation at roundabouts

Hi my test is in October. I mainly failed on observation last time.
I'm a bit confused about the observation at the roundabouts.

    This is my procedure.

Going straight on at a roundabout.
    1. Look right before approaching the roundabout for any approaching traffic.
    2. move slowly towards the roundabout look right and glance left.
    3. if it is safe to do so, get on the roundabout
    4. look ahead in the direction you are going
    5. as you pass the exit before the exit you intend to leave indicate left
    6. check my left mirror before leaving the roundabout
    7. after leaving the roundabout check my rear view mirror.

Is this correct? Any tips would be great thanks.

I'd insert a 2 1/2 there and look into your left and right mirror before you move onto the roundabout, just so you know if there is a motorcyclist etc. on your inside, doesn't hurt to know what's going on around you especially on a roundabout, things can go south faster there than nearly any other part of a road.
