Hope you don't mind me posting this here Mech1, a good link you provided in the other thread for anyone wanting to listen on their smartphone
Now feeding same feed to Radioreference, so you should be able to access it on mobiles etc without buying any apps.

Also if the liveatc site ever goes down its still available.
    Pat.

Sorry if this is a very ignorant question but how do you access 119.6 MHZ? The radio on my (non-smart) phone only seems to get stations up to 107 Mhz and I can't tune it any higher than that. I can listen to LiveATC online but is it possible to get that frequency on an ordinary FM radio?

Does Live-ATC have that frequency? If not, we should try and contact whoever provides the live feed for EIDW and see if they can get that frequency included on their scanner, maybe ever set to priority?

Don't worry, it's all in hand.

you need an airband receiver/scanner. you can buy a really simple one for about 30-40 euro but the antennas they come with are crap, so add another fiver for a decent whip

^^ Mech provides one of the feeds and it's all been discussed in the LiveATC and Flightfest threads :)

    No, it's not possible.

FM Radio is 87.5 to 108 MHz, Airband is 108 to 137 MHz I think. But ATC starts at 118 MHz..I don't know too much about this :pac:

Does anyone know how far up the quays they will fly before breaking off? I'm presuming they will fly from the bay (towards Heuston).

Just for all you iPhone users, you dont need to buy the live ATC App. Simply open safari and go to live atc as you would on a computer and listen, its free!

All this info has been covered in the main FlightFest thread.

Display line is Eastlink to Matt Talbot bridge (Customs House)

Descend to 800ft at Eastlink, cross Samuel Beckett Bridge, then climb back up to 1700ft by the time they reach Matt Talbot Bridge, left turn to circle back for 2nd pass.
