suttons, thompson and morgan, unwins. Sign up on their websites and they'll send out the catalogues for free.
Sign up to Mr Middleton too.

But check this site every month, especially the 'What to sow in (month)" diary entry down the right. Sometimes she gives the variety name and seed supplier. These would be tried and tested varieties that do well in our climate.

Agree with all the above (particularly Mr Middleton). While I try and support Irish suppliers all the way I also use Chiltern seeds (www.chilternseeds.co.uk) who are great for some unusual veg varieties. No problems with delivery to Ireland. :)

I don't do much growing from seed these days, but I agree about Chiltern if you want some unusual stuff. I never had much luck with Thompson and Morgan seeds though.

Another thumbs up for Seedaholic, been using them for a few years now. They've a great selection and their prices are fantastic. The seeds come beautifully packaged with a little A5 sheet of paper containing lots of interesting and useful information. :)

Another vote for seedaholic, I also use "brown seed envelopes" - not a massive range but Irish and very, very good to deal with.
