Switching to lipos - do I need a MOSFET?

As the title says, I'm switching my guns to lipos. However I've been told I should also put in a MOSFET. Is this true? While I do like the idea of having a three shot burst (as I mainly fire single rounds or 2-3 quick rounds in lieu of full auto), is there much involved in fitting one?

11.1V defo imo, 7.4v is debatable, but in the long run you are better off with one long, term use of nearly any battery will cause carbon build up on contacts, it just happens more so with lipos. Even for the improved ROF and trigger response it is worth it. As for fitting one if you are anyway decent with aegs you should be fine.

If you're going to spray & pray with a drum-mag, I would strongly reconsider the use of an v11.4 unless you are also prepared to do some extensive, expensive, and thourough gearbox internal upgrading to take the strain that extended full-auto with v11.4 will bring.
