Recently got a new job in killkenny in the loughboy industrial estate and will be looking for a new gaff. Anyone know what i could reasonably expect ot pay for a double room in a nice house/appartment in the area.

Is there any public transport in kilkenny city to speak of?

    Thanks in advance.

E220 + bills per month should get you a decent double room with shared bathroom.

There is a thread somewhere in the fourm about transport in the city so maybe check that out (there's not much to speak of as far as I know)

There is loads of housing around loughboy so you should have no problem getting a place to stay within 10 minutes walk.

Kilkenny is tiny, you can walk from anywhere on the outskirts and be in town centre in 15 mins man.
